Professional Learning Activities 2014
ACHPER (SA) is currently planning activities for the 2014 calendar to support your important work, please keep an eye out for further information including a range of new innovative sessions including support for Year 12 Physical Education, Technology in PE and much more. Key 2014 dates include, ACHPER (SA) State Conference 23 - 24 April 2014, ACHPER (SA) Primary Conference 22 September 2014 and ACHPER Secondary Conference 1 - 2 December 2014. In 2014, ACHPER (SA) is pleased to announce the launch of a consultancy service for the Education, Sport and Health sectors. ACHPER (SA) has a number of tried and tested professional learning presentations, access to a number of dedicated and enthusiastic presenters and can tailor something for specific site demands. ACHPER (SA) is excited to again host the ACHPER International Conference in April 2015. This event will combine with the annual State ACHPER Conference, and planning has begun to offer the best professional learning opportunity in the Southern Hemisphere.
ACHPER (SA) Secondary Conference - 2 - 3 December 2013

ACHPER (SA) is pleased to seek applications for a part time (0.4) role as an ACHPER (SA) Professional Learning Officer. This role will be based on a flexible working arrangement and will run from January 23, 2014 to June 30, (with possible extension). The role will feature the delivery, development and recruitment of ACHPER professional learning and consultancy services across the Education, Health and Sport sectors. Play with Purpose: For Fundamental Movement Skills Teaching
This resource is a South Australian first that was developed to support educators in planning, delivering and assessing early childhood FMS. This resource has been designed to support educators and enable all students to develop and refine their FMS. Photos, illustrations, and observation checklists are featured to support the development and achievement of these important skills. This resource has been funded by SACPSSA and managed by ACHPER (SA).
