ACHPER (SA) aims to promote health and physical education in schools and educational settings through the provision of a variety of practical professional learning activities targeted at HPE educators and professionals and HPE students.

Draft Health & Physical Education Shape Paper released for consultation
The Shape of the Australian Curriculum: Health & Physical Education draft paper is now available for national public consultation until 3 June 2012. Feedback will be used to revise the draft Shape paper, which will then be published as the Shape of the Australian Curriculum: Health & Physical Education. This paper will guide the writing of the Foundation to Year 12 curriculums in this learning area.
A timeline for the development of the Australian Curriculum for Health & Physical Education is available on the ACARA website at www.acara.edu.au/hpe.html.
