Fundamental Movement Skills Seminar

Join ACHPER SA for a dynamic professional learning event designed for PE teachers, early years educators, and coaches working with children aged 5–7.

 

Developing strong FMS during early childhood is a vital foundation for lifelong health, confidence, and learning. Children who master coordination, balance, and control are significantly more likely to enjoy physical activity and remain active as they grow.

 

Led by ACHPER SA Professional Learning Officers Katie Liebelt and Rick Baldock, this session explores innovative, research-based approaches to enhancing motor skills through purposeful movement and play. Participants will engage in a blend of theoretical insights and high-energy practical sessions tailored for the early years' environment.
